About Light Language

Updated: Jan 21

I noticed over the years following my awakening and starting spiritual service, that my hands would naturally form what I believed to be mudras when working with energy or meditating. I didn't give it much thought because it felt so natural. Somewhere thereafter, I learned of a spiritual teacher by the name of Jamye Price who did something called Light Language.. It was fascinating watching her speak in a mysterious "language" and do a dance with her hands and feet each month in her U-tube energy update segments which I had begun to follow.

I signed up for a workshop facilitated by Jamye Price in Sedona which was conducted in October 2018. All those attending explored all the various examples of Light Language, and came to understand it to be an energetic transmission of energy coming from across the realms that can be in the form of spoken word, sung, hand and/or body gestures, and written. There is not usually a specific word per word translation to the spoken Light Language. It is usually an energy that is channeled through an individual who is frequently then transmitting the energy in some form to others. This energy can come through from other dimensional beings or angels. Like other messages received through the use of intuition, general or specific understanding of the "message" or intention of the Light Language can be understood and "felt" by the individual receiving it.

During the first day of the workshop there were times when Jamye would explain her experiences and understandings. As she did, I found my hands began to shake and move. I kept them under the tables so as not to distract others from Jamye's talk, but my hands were waking up in a way I'd never experienced before. First one, then the other, then both. Imagine you wake up to find your hands uncontrollably moving from your wrists to your fingers. I could will my hands to stop or sit on them, but why would I? That's what I was there for. It was so bizarre and exciting.

We did exercises to encourage what I would call the initiation of each type of Light Language. I found myself more drawn to the hand gestures, the singing (which sounded like Angels to me) and, surprisingly to me, the written Light Language. The photo above is an early example of a transmission I received. Either I received specific visuals in my head or like the gestures, the pen would flow through my hand resulting in what appears to be a writing, although not from this planet.

When I returned home from the workshop, I asked my guidance for assistance with bringing in the spoken word as I so loved the sound and feeling from the many others at the workshop who already spoke Light Language or had just opened up to it. I found that was all I needed. I will say that when I allow the spoken Light Language to come in, it almost always sounds like a Native American language, and occasionally sounds like a bizarre series of clicks and tones - very Galactic in nature.

The practice of Light Language over the past 10 years has taken off dramatically. I am amazed at the individuals and spiritual friends for whom this process has come in. I find it truly beautiful and such a blessing. There is so much material out there and I highly recommend Jamye's book if you are interested.
